Bandar Khalifah railway station is one of active station in Regional Division 1 (North Sumatra & Aceh) Indonesian Railways. It is the first railway station if we go from Medan city to the East, and serve the area of Percut Sei Tuan, especially Tembung city. Located around 9 km from Besar Medan City Railway Station.
The station building itself sort of heritage from colonial era (not sure if it is built during colonial era, or after the Indonesian independence), which had been revitalized several times to its stake today. A small station, but fair number of passengers are using it to travel around North Sumatra. Here are the pictures
Kedai Durian Station is one of former stasiun in the now-in-existence Medan – Deli Tua Railway track. This is the last station before the train reach final destination, Deli Tua Railway Station (although I heard that the extent of the railway is also reaching Sibiru-biru, still passengers train is only reaching Deli Tua)
This station is stationed just by the borderline of Medan city and Deli Serdang District (Deli Tua). If the plan is realized to re-activate this station, it will be very helpful as commuter station given the huge number of residents near Kedai Durian and Marindal.
PHOTO GALLERY (GALERI FOTO):
This is the crossroad of Kedai Durian Railway Station, the former station premise is situated on the right side. The ascending mound is the point where railway cross section with the road. It is typical ‘physical appearances’ of all railway-streets crossing in Medan city with that ascending.
Inilah titik Stasiun Kedai Durian, stasiun posisi di sblh kanan..gundukan jalan itu adalah bekas rel KA (ciri khas rel Medan Deli Tua adalah semua rel perlintasan sebidang mulai dr Kota Medan sampe Deli Tua terletak sedikit di atas jalan raya sehingga seperti ‘polisi tidur’ (sehingga perpotonganny dengan jalan mudah sekali diidentifikasi)
The Inter Milan Captain, one of the most loyalist football player in the modern football, Javier Zanetti, handed his resignation from football business after a long-sparkling 19 years of career in Inter Milan with total of 862 appearances. As it stands, he is now 40-years old.
The Argentinian had the home game against Lazio (which was won by Inter 4-1 to cement their way for Europe League competition next season ) as his swan song. Although it is well known will be his last prior to the game, Inter coach decided not to put the right-back player on the starting line up. Instead he was coming as substitute late on the 2nd half to a rapturous applause from all over stadium.
I really have a huge accolade for stunning sceneries all around the campus of University of Indonesia Campus in Depok. It is always a great day to step my feet and brush my eyes with well-designed landscape that cover the university. That is the greatest thing about the university, the spirit for learning and teaching blend nicely with the mother’s nature son.

In my earlier post, I shared some views of the pedestrian
On this post, the focus is on the beautiful images around the biggest lake in the University of Indonesia. The lake is perhaps the center point of the campus, the trademark of the landscape over here, as from that zone we could see the UI Directorate, Library, the Mosque, and some of the Departments like School of Law, etc. So one who visit this campus, should not miss a chance to at least walk around the lake to enjoy this view.
These are old photos, but luckily the queen of weather smiled so sweetly to me that I really had a good time in capturing the stills even with my very cheap camera – you can see the sunshine spring on this photos 🙂
Please enjoy 🙂

I caught an economy train (kind of sleeper class in India train) for my departure from Maja to Rangkasbitung in Banten Province, Indonesia. The trip covered something like 30-km-distance (mostly flat with little hills one or two) and took about 40 minutes long. It was actually a sleeper train overall but as the economy ticket holder, I can only stand with other passengers in the corridor. Luckily, I can stand by the door facing the views in the flesh..

Monas (Monumen Nasional) is a huge tower perhaps the trademark symbol of Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia. It is located closely in the heart of the city, so one can see almost all Jakarta perspectives by staring from the top of Monas tower.
I hereby share some Jakarta photos taken from the top of Monas tower. I would explain a lot about Monas in separated post. Watch this space and enjoy. Cheers 🙂

Probably the most-frequent airport I’ve ever visited, I collected some pictures from this old-fashioned biggest airport in Indonesia.
